Weekly Progress Report! 📈

Welcome. This is the first of what I intend to become weekly progress reports tracking the growth of eOpinion.

I didn’t know what to expect from the numbers this week. I assumed (hoped!) there would be an uptick of some description after I went officially live but I had no idea how much it would be.

I covered my approach to reporting yesterday — read here — including how I will be making this data public as I build the business. It is worth noting that this is not a fixed process and I am more than happy to iterate if it makes sense.

Now to some numbers:

Panel sign-ups — Saw a very healthy net +383 increase in people joining the eOpinion panel this week. Safe to say this is the biggest one week increase to date.

Press Release sign-ups — A little surprised with no mention of this anywhere, yet 11 journalists/publishers gave us their email addresses.

Digital PR data sets sign-ups — 5 PR’s signed up organically this week but again not really promoted yet.

Digital PR data sets sales — 0 (No data for sale yet, product will go fully live in the next week or two)

Daily eOpinion Sponsorship — Had 6 people enquire about this which is great news, conversations are ongoing.

Unsurprisingly, the Speedy Poll Solutions product line up had a bit of new attention this week. This led to quite a few messages/calls from former colleagues and my Linkedin network looking to find out more. It’s worth noting that these were mainly exploratory to begin with but again as not really pushed yet I’m incredibly happy with some conversations, comped solutions and a few sales.

n.b. In an attempt to get the eOpinion name and product line out there, I am providing a few free freebies/trials. Will cover this thought process/approach in a later post.

Digital PR: Enquiries — 3, comp/sales — 1.

Team: Enquiries — 1, comp/sales — 1.

CX: Enquiries — 5, comp/sales — 3.

Brand: Enquiries — 2, comp/sales — 1.

Product: Enquiries — 1, comp/sales — 0.

Project Phil: Enquiries — 0, comp/sales — 0. (If you know any charities/not for profits that could benefit from a Speedy Poll Solution, feel free to point them in my direction)

On the whole a pleasing week, not a total tumbleweed experience! I’ve no doubt things will be a bit quieter this week but that’s ok as I continue the slow growth strategy.

Hope this insight is somewhat helpful, please feel free to ask questions or provide feedback. You can get in touch here.
